| Leave a copy of email on my mail server with Outlook 2007
This guide shows how to set Outlook 2007 to leave your email on
the mail server. By default outlook will delete the messages from the
server after they are downloaded.
- Click the Tools menu, then Account Settings.
- Highlight your account and click Change.
- Click More Settings.
- Click on the Advanced tab
- Add a checkmark next to Leave a copy of messages on the server
- You can also set the messages to be deleted after a set number of days, or once you delete them in outlook.
- Click OK
